I'm one month old!!!!

Today is my one month birthday!! Life has been pretty good so far. Mommy and Daddy take good care of me and I have really nice grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins!! In my first month I have already had a professional photo shoot (thanks Aunt Liz), been the star of a live nativity, and driven through a snow storm. I would have to say my favorite thing to do is sleep as you can tell from the picture above, but I also enjoy eating, playing with cousins, going on car rides, taking baths, and dancing with mommy. She is so funny, she thinks she is a good singer and dancer but I don't have the heart to tell her she is not so I just give her a little smile once in awhile. I also love my bedroom. It is very pretty. I am also grateful for all my new friends that gave me such a nice wardrobe. I would have to say I'm a pretty snazzy dresser.

Well I better go because I'm getting hungry. I think I will cry so Mommy will come feed me. Thank you all for your love and well wishes. This first month has been great and I look forward to many more. I'll leave you all with a few pics from my first month.

Bye,

Olivia

Christmas with the Walkers

This year we spent Christmas with the whole Walker Family. It was a full house hold but we enjoyed our time together .
Here are some pictures of the live Nativity that we did with all of the grandkids on Christmas Eve.
Grandma and Grandpa Walker really spoiled us while we were there. Thanks to them for all they do for us and for making Christmas so great.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We hope that you all had a Merry Christmas and we hope that you have a happy New Year.

Battle of the Aunts!!

The Battle has begun!! Between all the Ladies in my family it may be a battle to see who can win over little Olivia's Heart and become her favorite aunt. I am already hearing the smack talking between my sisters...and to tell you the truth it is actually pretty cute. Hear are a couple of Pictures of my two sisters... Jenny and Krissy with Olivia. I must say... Olivia is pretty lucky to have such great Aunts...(Liz and Lauren too!)
Thanks Jen for being such a good sport and wearing the face mask when you had your cold.

Weighing in at 6 lbs. 11 oz.... Please welcome Olivia Nicole Walker!

Our baby girl was born Thursday, November 29th at 9:20 p.m. She was 6 lbs. 11 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. Mom and baby are both doing great and are home now. (Dad is also doing well, if any of you were wondering) Olivia is very sweet and has already brought so much joy into our lives. I've attached a few pictures but I'm sure Heather will be posting more and telling you all about the experience later when she has time.

Deigi Bulkogi for 2 (make that 3) Please!

So now that I am considered full term I am on the move to do any and everything to induce labor....(except the castor oil thing!) So Chris and I went to get some Spicy food at my favorite restaurant Sam Hawk (its Korean). I must say that It was spicy as normal...but I am still pregnant!!! I guess I should chill out since I still have 3 1/2 weeks to go before my due date!! Although it didn't put me into labor... nor did I even start to feel like I might go into labor or even have a contraction... I will be back for the spicy food with high hopes that something might happen soon!! (or maybe just because I really don't want to
cook!)

Thanks to the Ladies @ COMPanion

On Tuesday Chantel Miner threw a fabulous shower for me and our soon to be little one. The shower was so much fun, and the food was great!! It was so good to get together with all of the women folk at work and mingle (which I wish happened more often). I just hope they all know how appreciative I am to them for all their good advise and great gifts to give me a head start on what will probably be the greatest and hardest adventure of mine and Chris' lives.

We've joined the blogging nation

We've felt out of the loop without a blog so we figured we would join the "in" crowd and start one. Especially since we will need a place to show off pictures of our new little girl when she joins us in the next few weeks. We are very excited to have her in our family and we hope she comes sooner than later.

I am going to leave this post short and sweet because my job was to start the blog, Heather is the one who gets to do all the fun writing and posting of pictures. I will leave with a picture of the mother to be standing in front of our baby girl's argyle wall that we only spent two Saturdays creating.
