Weekend with Jen and Larry

A week ago or so we met up with my sister Jen and
her hubby Larry in McCall.
It was fun to see them and spend time at both
Payette and Cascade Lakes.

Olivia loved the water, both lake water and bath water!

It was a perfect night for a sunset over the lake. It was so fun to see you Jen and Larry!
(or as Olivia says "nenny and Larly"!) Miss you guys!

4th on the Palouse

We filled our 4th with a day full of events. We started out at the Johnson parade. As you can see by the picture, there is not a lot in the town of Johnson, which is why we love it.

After the Parade we went to the Farmer's Market and had ice cream cones to cool us down and watched the dog show.

Later we had a BBQ with friends, which i don't have pics to show for it but the food sure was good. Then we ended our day with nothing less then a late night of fireworks and a very tired Olivia.

Family Pictures

Recently, while in Utah visiting, we had some family photos taken. For those of you who don't know, I have two incredible SIL's that are photographers. Liz, my SIL, took these photos for us and did such an amazing job. So if any of you out there are looking for a photographer with Great Prices, I know two! (their web links are on my blog list).

I posted this one because I love it in color too!

Moscow Flare

One thing about Moscow that I have really started to like is the character the town has, and I am not just talking about the people either. The first time I visited Moscow I thought it was a funky place where people must of had there colors mixed up. Now I really like it, and I'm finding that when we pick out the paint colors for our house, we can't do something that is too comfortable or safe. Here are some examples of the homes that bring the flavor to this unique town that I now call home (Well sorta:)).

How about these color combos?

Pink anyone?

Seriously?

And there are many more where these come from!

Driving already!?!

Olivia's new favorite words are car and tractor. She figures since she moved to a small town in Idaho she will get to drive at an early age so she has already started to practice. She loves riding on the lawn mower with grandpa and driving her little red car.

Bloomsday

The Running of the Lilac Bloomsday Run 2009

So Chris, myself and some family members participated in the Bloomsday Run which is a 12K or 7.46 miles.

It really was a neat event with over 50,000 participants.

The Boys that ran all 7.46 miles
Brad, Chris, Darren, Mike

Me, wishing good luck to Chris, who really didn't do any training at all for the run.

My SIL Cari and I anticipating our 7 plus mile journey in which we managed to keep up a good pace with our walk/run strategy.

We saw some interesting things along the way

And here we are, we finally made it across the finish line.

And a big Congratulations to all of us for enduring the course and making it up the "Dooms Day" hill.

And we can't foget a pic of Olivia with her Daddy on the carousel

Easter

Easter was a fun weekend, although the weather wasn't great we still
ended up having a good weekend.

Family pic (of course)

We met the Easter Bunny. (I thought he was a little scary myself.)

And Olivia was able to find some eggs with goodies in them.

By the end of the day she was on sugar overload, Thanks to Grandma's yummy chocolate fondue dip.
